Restoring the Core
LINCOLN GREEN, LEEDS
A resolved detailed design, responsive to a real site and identified user needs
A RESTORATIVE DESIGN STRATEGY
By utilising restorative community design within social housing we can help to combat the current crisis we face within deprived areas of Leeds. With poverty, mental fatigue and education on the verge of collapse in several areas of Leeds, Lincoln Green could be the project that counteracts the current lack of regenerative design in social housing, and instead puts the people and the place of the neighbourhood at the forefront of community focused intervention.

Thoughtful introductions of green infrastructure will help to elevate community outreach, promoting a new source of positive energy within the surroundings.
NATURAL PLAYSCAPE
The natural playscape aims to help combat the increasing rise in obesity and poor mental health experienced by children, by offering a safe outdoor space where creativity, exercise and a link to nature can be found.

CENTRAL WATER PLAZA
Thoughtful introductions of green infrastructure will help to elevate community outreach, promoting a new source of positive energy within the surroundings, allowing residents to gain skills and hobbies which were previously not viable. A sense of place is created, offering a sanctuary away from home or work pressures.
